Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever.Psalm 107:1
Through this Psalm, we are given such a real-life and historical example that could just as easily be our own lives and time and I am moved again to give such loving and glorious thanks to the Lord.
No matter how far away from God we have gone, His love endures… forever. Endure (verb) is to suffer patiently, to remain in existence; to last.
Isn’t that incredible? Isn’t that beautiful? (Isn’t that a relief?!)
As I am sitting here at my desk looking up at the wall I built to make a corner for my desk in our basement, my heart is so full of gladness as I look at the framed and matted prints, candids of my children and the framed and matted print by Ralph Kozak of Jesus Laughing, I am unable to stop smiling.
If I could wish for anything, I would wish for anyone to feel as I do when I read the Word. The Word fills me with hope and joy.
Have a blessed day filled with hope and joy.
