Discipleship, a journey I hope you will join me on. Being transformed into the likeness of Jesus, on purpose.

Discipleship is the lifestyle of walking with God.
Obedience to God’s commands is the true sign of our love for God and the only way to be sure we are obeying God is by knowing and understanding his Word.
If you love me, keep my commands.John 14:15
And this is love: that we walk in obedience to his commands. As you have heard from the beginning, his command is that you walk in love.2 John 1:6
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding.Proverbs 3:5
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God sis not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him.John 3:16-17

I am the Lord your God; follow my decrees and be careful to keep my laws. Keep my Sabbaths holy, that they may be a sign between us. Then you will know that I am the Lord your God.Ezekiel 20:19-20
To this you were called, because Christ suffered for you, leaving you an example, that you should follow in his steps.1 Peter 2:21

I seek you with all my heart; do not let me stray from your commands.Psalm 119:10
I have chosen the way of faithfulness; I have set my heart on your laws.Psalm 119:30
The perfect example is right there, available to us to read and study. What did Jesus do? Reminding myself of this question more and more often has allowed me to become more patient, to become a better listener, to be more compassionate and forgiving.
“What did Jesus do?” This is what true discipleship is all about.
